Intent Pop Governance & Handoff
Intent Pop · Governance & Handoff Governs the whole suite

Keep it
consistent

A brand only compounds if it stays coherent. This document turns the system into operating rules — who owns what, where truth lives, how change cascades, and the preflight checks that catch a mistake before it ships.

ONE SOURCE OF TRUTH
HUMAN-GOVERNED
PREFLIGHT, THEN SHIP
— CONSISTENCY COMPOUNDS
§01
Ownership

Every part
has a name
on it

No shared ownership, no orphaned decisions. One accountable owner per domain — they hold the standard and the final yes.

Strategy & positioningFounder / BrandThe category, the wedge, the locked phrases. Approves anything that redefines who we are.
Voice & editorialContent leadHow we sound and what we publish. Owns the lockbox, the topic model, and the publish gate.
Visual identityDesign leadColour, type, the mark, layout, imagery, icons. Guards the one-accent discipline.
Motion & videoDesign / VideoThe pop, motion tokens, video specs and captions. Reserves the signature beat.
Social & distributionSocial / DemandChannels, pillars, cadence, the post-card system. Owns the never-list in the feed.
Prompts & AI generationDesign / AI opsThe house-style spine, the voice prompt. Ensures every generation is grounded and reviewed.

§02
Source of truth

One canonical
home each

For every asset, exactly one place is authoritative. Copies are copies — when they disagree, the source wins.

Design tokensstyles.css · Hub §03

Colour, type, spacing, radius — the CSS variables every doc and the UI kit reference.

Locked phrasesVoice §10

Tagline, descriptor, one-liner, rallying line, name treatment. Never paraphrased.

Motion tokensMotion §04

Easing curves and the duration scale. The pop is defined once, used once per piece.

The markBrand Book §10 · pop-loop.js

The Wild Burst SVG geometry and its animation. The single approved construction.

House-style spinePrompt Pack §02

The palette + style suffix appended to every image prompt. Update here, propagate out.

ComponentsUI Kit

90+ on-brand components. The product/web build references these, not ad-hoc CSS.

If two files disagree, the source of truth wins — and the other gets fixed.

§03
Change control

How a change
cascades

Mirrors the Hub's change protocol. A token never changes in one surface alone — it changes at the source and flows out, in order.

01

Decide at the source.

The domain owner approves the change where the asset actually lives — not in a deck or a Slack thread.

02

Update the token once.

Edit the canonical value — the variable, the hex, the phrase, the curve. One edit, one place.

03

Cascade & re-issue.

Refresh every doc, swatch, sample, prompt, export, and component that referenced it.

04

Log it.

Bump the version, record what moved and why, tell the team. An unlogged change didn't happen.

When to escalate

Anything that touches strategy, the name, the locked phrases, or the core palette needs founder + brand-governance sign-off before it cascades. Everything else is the domain owner's call — move fast, just log it.

Versioning

Major (x.0) = identity or strategy shift. Minor (1.x) = new doc, expanded section, token tweak. Note the version in each doc's footer and the log below.

§04
The preflight checks

Run before
you ship

Seven checklists, one per kind of work. If a box is empty, it's not ready. Pin these where work gets made.

Brand

Any deliverable
Says something only Intent Pop would say
One idea — intent, converted — is visible
One accent, disciplined; no second loud colour
A claim? Then there's proof behind it
Accessible: contrast, legibility, safe margins

Copy

Words anywhere
Answer first — point before the build-up
Active voice, short sentences, no jargon theatre
Locked phrases used exactly, never paraphrased
Numbers, not adjectives; every claim attributed
Reads like one voice across the surface

Visual

Design & layout
Logo: clearspace, min size, approved colorway
Palette ratio holds (~60/30/8/2)
Type roles correct; tracking & scale on-system
Charts: one poppy series, no chartjunk, sourced
Exported at right size/format, named clearly

Motion & video

Anything moving
Every movement carries meaning, not decoration
Uses motion tokens; the pop reserved for one beat
Captions built for mute; safe margins respected
Reduced-motion path works; nothing loops forever
End-card sequence + persistent small wordmark

Editorial

Published content
Title answered in the first three sentences
Maps to a pillar, a cluster, and a service
Links down/sideways/up; descriptive anchors
Sources cited & dated; updated date shown
Named operator reviewed every number

Social

Feed posts
Hook earns the scroll in the first line
Genuinely useful — gives before it asks
Fits the channel's one job; right format/size
On-brand card template; one poppy accent
No cliché: no announce-bait, hashtag soup, rainbow

AI generation

Anything a model made — copy or image
Grounded in real source material, not invented
Assumptions labelled; claims checked against fact
House-style spine (images) / voice prompt (copy) applied
No banned language, no vague superlatives
Palette holds: one poppy, no second accent
A human reviewed and signed off before publish
§05

Governance binds the whole suite — ownership, truth, change, and the preflights. It governs every other document but writes none of them. Start anywhere from the Hub; the preflights point back into each doc's rules.
